Leja Dolenc Grošelj created the first national Sleep Laboratory at the University Medical Center in Ljubljana in 1994, and is the Head of the Sleep Center. She is involved in many clinical and research projects in the field of sleep and is the author of European guidelines and scientific publications in different topics of sleep disorders. She is involved in sleep education for under and postgraduate students at the Medical Faculty and in organization and teaching at the European Sleep Summer School. She is the founder of Slovene Sleep Society and serves as a vice President of the Society and Slovenian Society of Clinical Neurophysiology.
